Gully erosion sacks Imo community

by OkeomaNews

A gully erosion has sacked the people of Amakohia in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.

The erosion site which is at a road connecting Okpuala Amakohia and Onwubinubi autonomous communities is now a death trap.

While the road is unpassable, the residents of the area are now at the mercy of the hazards of the menace.

Residents of the area had called on the government the intervene before it kills people and destroy properties.

They said that the development had overwhelmed them, leading to a “Save Our Soul” message to the government.
