Simeon Ekpa can’t intimidate Igbo, says ex Imo senator

A former senator who represented Imo North, Athan Achonu, on Thursday hailed the arrest of a popular pro Biafra agitator, Simeon Ekpa by the Finish government.

Achonu who spoke to journalists at his country home at Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of the state ahead of the this weekendy elections, accused Ekpa of working to ensure that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, died in the custody of Department of Security Service.

The ex lawmaker said that Ekpa doesn’t have the right to intimidate Igbo from coming out to vote on Saturday.

Achonu said that if elected, Peter Obi will work for the release of Kanu.

He urged the Igbo people to come out en mass on Saturday to vote for Obi.

He said “Simeon Ekpa is working against Nnamdi Kanu. He wants Kanu to die in detention. All of us from South East are Biafrans but we must come out en mass to vote for Peter Obi.”
