As politicans make preparations for the November 2023 Imo State governorship election, two more politicans have declared interest on the platform of Labour Party.
The politicans are Chief David Mbamara and Dr James Okoroma.
While Mbamara declared his interest to jostle for the LP governorship ticket in Ikeduru Local Government Area, Okoroma declared in his ward in Mbaise.
The due who spoke to Okeomanews separately expressed their confidence to win the party’s ticket.
Mbamara said ” I have declared in my ward in Iho Dimeze and at the LGA level. We have to get it right this time. Imo needs my person as its next governor.
Okoroma on his part said ” I have formerly declared to run the governorship election in my ward. Labour Party is the party.”
The declarations of the due had increased the number of politicans who had formerly announced their willingness to jostle for the LP governorship ticket in the state.
