A Police Public Relations Officer has emerged for the police zonal headquarters, Zone 9 Umuahia.
He is Bruno Iheanetu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
A statement issued on Tuesday by Nwankwo Osogu disclosed that Iheanetu took over from Yisrael Ini-Obong Jack-Rabin who has been transferred to the Abia State police command.
The statement read “the police zonal Headquarters ,zone 9 Umuahia wishes to inform the general public that a new Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO)has been posted to the zone 9 Headquarters,Umuahia.
“He is Deputy Superintendent of police(DSP)Iheanetu Bruno Chukwudera.He takes over from SP Yisrael Ini-Obong Jack-Rabin who has been deployed to Abia State Police Command for other police duties.
“DSP Iheanetu Bruno Chukwudera enlisted into the Nigerian Police Force on 31st December 2016 as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of police(ASP).He trained at the Nobel Citadel of Learning, Police staff college Jos and holds Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA Hons)In English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
“He attended several courses among which are Citizenship and Leadership Training Sherehills, Jos,Community Policing training , Public Communication in crisis management course,Police mobile force Training IIa Oragun among others.
“He has served the Nigeria Police Force in Various Capacities notably, as deputy Police Public Relations Officer (2i/c PPRO) Imo state Police Command, Detective at State Criminal Investigation Department, Owerri Imo state police Command and until his appointment as the Police Public Relations Officer of Zone 9,he was the deputy police Public Relations Officer of Zone 9,he was the deputy Police Public Relations Officer of zone 9 Headquarters umuahia.
