INEC shortlists 17 candidates for Imo gov election

The independent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday published list of 17 candidates jostling for the number position of the state.

The shortlisted list had the incumbent governor, Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress, Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party, Athan Achonu of the Labour Party, Ejiogu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Jack Ogunewe of the Action Alliance and others as the candidates.

The election is slated for Movement 11.
