Anara community endorses Uzodimma’s reelection bid

The people of Anara community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State have endorsed the second term bid of the state governor, Hope Uzodimma.

The community made the announcement when they paid a courtesy call on the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Rubby Emele.

The President General of the community, Hon Chidi Obialor who spoke on behalf of the community, said that Anara people were pleased with the leadership performances of the state governor.

Obialor said that the massive road construction revolution and other actions of the governor had distinguished him as a man who is qualified to continue in office beyond 2023.

The PG said that Anara people were happy with the government’s presence in the community such as the construction of the Owerri- Okigwe expressway, street light, the ongoing construction of a Catholic church at Umuehie -Anara and the proposed housing estate cited in the community by the state governor.

Obialor, said that the community would gladly return the governor’s kind gesture by massively voting for him during the November 11 governorship election in the state.

The PG said ” we thank the governor through your office as a daughter of Isiala Mbano for the project he has embarked upon in Anara namely the road network and street light that passed through Anara, giving our community a new look, the Catholic church building in Umuehie -Anara which has reached advanced level of completion. The recent Housing estate which his excellency cited in Anara is another monumental project.

” The Anara community has already passed a vote of confidence on his excellency, the governor and has gone further to adopt him as the sole candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Imo State.”

The Governor’s Liason Officer for Osuama/ Anara ward, Hon Iyke Anumaka, said that the community would be glad if the governor is reelected.

Anumaka disclosed that the community’s leadership was already mobilising its people to vote for Uzodimma.

The Traditional Ruler of the community, Eze Ogemdi Agbugba, is already sensitising his people to vote and support Uzodimma’s reelection bid.
