Ikenga Imo breaks silence weeks after he escaped death

The spokesperson for Coalition of United Political Parties, Ikenga Ugochinyere Imo said he is now ready to speak after he escaped death after gunmen ambushed him at his country home at Akokwa in the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.

In that attack three persons were killed with a house, 33 vehicles and motorcycles razed.

In a statement he personally issued on Tuesday night and titled ” Now I am ready to speak tomorrow”, the activist who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ideato South/ Ideato North federal constituency election disclosed that his speech on Wednesday in Abuja would be broadcasted live on all the major national television stations in the country. 

The statement read “As I end the mourning period over the sponsored terrorist and assassination attack carried out in my home that left some of my associates and family members killed and wounded, houses and vehicles burnt, I will be speaking LIVE to the world to make some important statements on ARISE TV DSTV CHANNEL 416,  TVC DSTV CHANNEL 418 AND AIT DSTV  CHANNEL 253 (www.tvcnews.tv and  www.arise.tv) by 11am 

Tomorrow been Feb 1st 2023 at Opposition  House Wuse Abuja.”
