Imo lawmaker holds inauguration thanksgiving, promises better representation

The Member representing Nwangele/ Nkwerre/ Isu/ Njaba Federal Constituency of Imo State, Ugonna Ozurigbo, has promised to improve on his legislative capacity as he was reelected into the House of Representatives.

Speaking during his thanksgiving service and reception at St Anthony’s Catholic Parish in Umuozu in Nwangele LGA after his inauguration as the reelected lawmaker of his federal constituency, Ozurigbo, said that he was thankful to God and the overwhelming majority of his constituents for seeing him through the hurdles of his reelection campaigns.

Ozurigbo said that the grace of God and the support of the people mattered most when there was serious gang up to truncate his reelection victory.

He said that it was humbling to see the preponderance of support and good wishes when his certificate of return was withheld two months after he had clearly won the election.

Ozurigbo said that his reelection had given him the opportunity to improve on his capacity and bring more dividends of democracy to his people.

OZB as he is popularly known said that he would do more in human capacity development programmes and projects and as well as give his people quality representation in the green chamber of the national Assembly.
