The final collation of results of the election for Nkwerre/ Nwangele/ Isu/ Njaba federal constituency of Imo State as displayed on the INEC Results Viewing Portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission has showed that Ugonna Ozurigbo of Peoples Democratic Party has won the February 25 election in the federal constituency.

INEC had collated results from Nkwerre, Nwangele and Isu Local Government Areas without a final collation for Njaba LGA owing to violence.

The results INEC collated from the three LGAs showed that the PDP candidate scored 16, 846 votes while his closest rival, Harrison Nwadike of the All Progressives Congress polled a total of 6, 784 votes.

But with the final collation of results for the Njaba LGA as displayed on INEC IReV on Tuesday showed that the PDP candidate has won the election.

The Njaba LGA results on the IRev showed that the PDP scored 3, 179 while the APC candidate scored 2, 213 votes.

When put together, the PDP candidate has scored a total of 20, 025 votes with the APC candidate getting a total of 8, 997 votes.
