Just in : See how man escaped from Owerri gang kidnappers, ritualists

by OkeomaNews

A man has narrated how his younger brother escaped from kidnappers and ritualists who abducted him from Douglas Road in Owerri, Imo State.

He said ” I want to specially appreciate ASP Henry  for his help over the weekend.

“My younger brother was kidnapped last Saturday at Douglas road. He enter bus Imo and they threw a handkerchief on him and he dosed off only to later find himself in front of a shrine naked amongst other victims.

“They sent us nude videos of my brother and claimed he was caught in the act of homosexuality. They demanded for ransom or else they will kill and burn him alive.

“The PPRO was available to assist me and also connected me to the anti kidnapping squad. I also reached out to the DSS in the state and MTN to track his phone which they were using to communicate intermittently with us.

“They claimed their base is at Arondizuogu but investigation revealed they were never along that axis, rather they have a base around Onitsha road, Oguta and Mgbidi axis.

“Well my brother was released early morning yesterday. They sapped us of some money and cleared his account where his school fees was just paid into last week, beat him to stupor and released him after making him swear in front of the shrine that he will never expose them.

“He told us there are many victims in the shrine all picked in the city of Owerri.

“They did nude videos of all of them and sent to their families, with these videos and claim of homosexuality and lesbianism (for the ladies) plus threat of killing them and burning them alive, the families will rather not think it’s a case of kidnap and will be running around to pay the ransom.

“Let’s be care my people. I don dey fear Owerri oooo.

“Thank you very much for helping out, please your people should step up their game. I understand people are being kidnapped daily in Owerri city especially at Douglas and Control Post.”
